| Obverse description | The Portuguese coat of arms is depicted at centre, rendered in the stylised form of an arrecada earring, with the national shield featuring the traditional quinas and castles set within a crescent-shaped lower element evocative of traditional Viana jewellery. The design is executed in the silver ring field, with a beaded inner border surrounding the central motif.
