| 表面の説明 | The obverse displays the Portuguese coat of arms — a shield bearing five inescutcheons arranged in a cross, each charged with five bezants, surrounded by a bordure of seven castles — superimposed upon an armillary sphere rendered in low relief, symbolising Portugal's Age of Discovery. The denomination '2,5€' appears prominently in the upper field above the arms, with the curved legend 'REPÚBLICA PORTUGUESA' arching along the upper rim. The date '2013' is inscribed in the lower field beneath the central device. The engravers' names and mint mark appear discreetly in the lower peripheral field. |
