| Reverse description | A bold six-pointed cross dominates the field, with stylized lily-form finials adorning each of the six arms; additional foliate ornaments fill the angles between the arms. At the center of the cross, within a cartouche, appears the denomination mark 'IIS' above the word 'DUCAT' in raised lettering. The fineness mark '980' is placed at the lower margin of the cross. The outer legend, divided between the upper and lower periphery of the coin, reads PRO PROSPERITATE MUNDI and AUREUS MAGNUS, separated by small rosette stops. |
