| Reverse description | A bold ornate six-pointed cross occupies the central field, its arms adorned with stylized lily blossoms in high relief at each angle. At the center of the cross, within a shaped cartouche, appears the denomination IIS above the word DUCAT in raised lettering. The fineness mark 980 is inscribed in the lower field beneath the cross. The peripheral legend PRO PROSPERITATE MUNDI arcs across the upper portion of the coin, while AUREUS MAGNUS curves along the lower border, all lettering in Latin capitals. |
