| Reverse description | A bold six-pointed ornamental cross dominates the field, its arms terminating in stylised fleur-de-lis blossoms; at the centre a raised oval cartouche bears the denomination mark 'IIS' over 'DUCAT' in incuse letters. Small floral sprays fill each of the six angles between the arms of the cross. The fineness mark '980' appears in the lower exergue, while the circular legend reads 'PRO PROSPERITATE MUNDI' in the upper arc and 'AUREUS MAGNUS' in the lower arc. |
