Obverse description Central circular cartouche bearing the Arabic royal mint inscription of Sultan Moulay al-Hasan I, enclosed within a prominent six-pointed star (Star of Solomon) formed by two interlocking triangles in high relief. The triangular segments of the star are filled with flowing Arabic calligraphic legends. The entire design is set within a plain circular border, reflecting the traditional Moroccan Sherifian aesthetic of the late 19th century.
