| Obverse description | Central device depicts a Phrygian liberty cap mounted on a pole, facing slightly to the right, with the word LIBERTAD inscribed on its band. The cap is rendered in low relief within a plain field. A continuous inner border of raised beads encircles the central device, with a further outer ring of small six-pointed stars near the coin's rim.
