Reverse description The denomination 2 1/2 CENTAVOS is displayed prominently in the central field, enclosed within a wreath of laurel or olive branches tied at the base. A five-pointed star appears at the top of the composition, with mint privy marks positioned to either side of the star. The overall design is simple and utilitarian, consistent with small-denomination circulation coinage of the period. A beaded border frames the reverse.
