| Obverse description | A stylized pomegranate plant occupies the central field, depicted in bloom with a large, open fruit at the apex showing exposed seeds, flanked by leafy branches extending to either side and a secondary bud to the lower right. The plant rises from a short stem above the date, which is incused in large numerals at the base of the design. The entire motif is enclosed within a prominent toothed or reeded border running the full circumference of the coin. No legends appear on the obverse; the date alone serves as the sole inscription. |
