Obverse description Draped bust of Saint Peter facing right, depicted bearded and nimbed, holding the keys of the Church in his left hand. The figure is rendered in a bold, high-relief baroque style characteristic of late 18th-century Papal coinage. The circular legend reads APOST. PRINCEPS. (Apostolic Prince), separated by the bust.
