Obverse description Two confronted busts in high relief enclosed within an oak wreath, the left bust depicting Frederick William the Great Elector and the right depicting Emperor William I. A crowned Prussian eagle with displayed wings perches atop the wreath at center, set against radiating rays. Below the busts, a royal crown surmounts two circular shields dated 1685 and 1885 respectively, flanked by crossed scepters. The legend NON SOLI CEDIT arcs along the upper rim and DIEU PROTÈGE NOS SOUVERAINS along the lower rim.

Reverse description A crowned allegorical figure of Borussia stands at center in high relief, holding an upright sword in her left hand and a large round shield in her right. She is flanked by six children, each holding attributes symbolizing the arts, sciences, crafts, and commerce, representing the contributions of the Huguenot refugees to Prussian society. In the exergue, a still life of produce and tools is depicted. The circular legend DEUXIÈME CENTENAIRE DE L'ÉGLISE DU REFUGE EN PRUSSE runs along the upper rim.
