Pe aversul medaliei sunt reprezentate sera-turn a Grădinii Botanice din Iaşi, în centru, un palmier (Chrysalidocarpus lutescens) dedesubtul acesteia, iar deasupra, stema instituţiei aniversate. La exterior este inscripţionat textul GRADINA BOTANICA `ANASTASIE FATU` Iaşi. (Translation: The obverse of the medal depicts the tower-greenhouse of the Botanical Garden of Iaşi, in the center, a palm tree (Chrysalidocarpus lutescens) below it, and above, the coat of arms of the institution celebrating the anniversary. On the outside, the text GRADINA BOTANICA `ANASTASIE FATU` Iaşi is inscribed. The reverse shows in the center a group of gentian flowers (Gentiana asclepiadea), and on the outside, the text `150 YEARS OF ESTABLISHMENT` and the anniversary years, 1856 and 2006.) |
