The date 1980 is divided on either side of the eagle's lower body, flanked by the mint mark. The circular legend reads POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA along the upper periphery, separated by dot stops. The denomination ZŁ 2000 ZŁ appears prominently in large numerals across the lower portion of the field, with dot separators.
