(Translation: Central Bank of China Two Thousand Yuan Printed in the 35th year of the Republic)
Reverse description Central vignette of the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in Nanking rendered in fine line engraving, set against a backdrop of wooded hills. A large blank oval reserve occupies the left portion of the note. The denomination TWO THOUSAND YUAN / NATIONAL CURRENCY appears in a decorative panel at the lower centre, with two facsimile signatures and the date 1946 below. The entire design is printed in red on a geometric guilloche underprint, with numeral 2000 panels at all four corners.
