This bee belongs to that series, featuring moving parts engineered into the planchet itself, a production method that necessitates significantly higher silver weight than a standard issue of equivalent diameter.
The Czech Mint has produced similar mechanical insect coins for several sovereign issuers simultaneously, with shared engineering across different national authorizations.
