| 表面の説明 | Central to the obverse is a sunken medallion bearing the Mongol Bank logo and script rendered in Traditional Mongolian flanking both sides, encircled by a fine toothed border. Below the bank cartouche, the denomination '2000 ТӨГРӨГ' is boldly inscribed in the field, with the legend 'MONGOLIA 3 oz .999 SILVER' arcing beneath. Flanking the central medallion on either side, the massively curved and deeply ridged horns of an Argali ram emerge in high relief, dramatically extending to the coin's rim. The background field is entirely covered with a repeating geometric Mongolian ornamental pattern (ulzii) rendered in fine detail, giving the design a rich textural depth. The year '2022' appears within the obverse lettering of the central medallion. |

The argali (Ovis ammon) is the world's largest wild sheep and holds protected status in Mongolia under the 2012 Law on Fauna, yet trophy hunting licenses for the species are still legally issued to foreign hunters — a contradiction that has drawn sustained criticism from conservation bodies.
