Obverse description The national coat of arms of Uganda occupies the central field, featuring a traditional shield supported by a Uganda kob (Kobus kob thomasi) rearing on the dexter side and a grey crowned crane (Balearica regulorum) standing on the sinister side, with a scroll below bearing the national motto in the exergue.
