| 备注 |
Bank Indonesia's 2022–2023 low-denomination paper issues were produced at Perum Peruri's Karawang facility, the state security printer that has held the mandate for Indonesian banknote production since 1971. The 2000 Rupiah sits at the lower end of an inflation-compressed denomination range — Indonesia's hyperinflationary episode of the late 1990s, triggered by the Asian financial crisis, effectively rendered single-digit Rupiah denominations obsolete within a generation.
Watermarking as the sole listed security feature places this note well below the protection level applied to higher values in the same series, a deliberate cost-calibration for notes unlikely to be targeted by counterfeiters at face value.
