| Reverse description | The Brazilian national coat of arms occupies the center of the field, depicting a five-pointed star within a radiant aureole, superimposed on a celestial globe, all enclosed within a wreath and supported by a ribbon banner inscribed ESTADOS UNIDOS DO BRAZIL. Flanking the arms are two flowering branches — an olive branch to the left and a tobacco branch to the right — tied at the base by a ribbon, with the denomination 2000 RÉIS rendered in large bold numerals and lettering below. The motto ORDEM E PROGRESSO arches prominently across the upper field in large spaced letters, while the founding date 15 DE NOVEMBRO DE 1889 appears on flanking ribbons. The Berlin Mint mark 'A' is visible at the bottom center of the coin. |
