Reverse description	The reverse is rendered in shades of gray and dark blue, with a central vignette of the first building of the National Library of Uruguay as it appeared in 1816, set against a finely engraved guilloche background. A complementary allegorical design at center registers with the obverse, and partial numbers at the corresponding position complete the split-register security element. The face value appears in numerals at upper left and lower right, and in words at lower center.
