| Obverse description | A short-term treasury bond (срочен касов бон) format note issued from Sofia, dated 25 декември 1919 година (25 December 1919), with the denomination 2000 printed in red at all four corners against a fine guilloche underprint. The central text in Cyrillic script states the obligation of the Bulgarska Narodna Banka to pay the bearer two thousand leva, valid until 31 March 1920, with signature lines for Контрольор (Controller), Управител (Governor), and Касиер (Cashier) at the lower portion. A vertical Cyrillic bank name inscription runs along the left border. |
