Obverse description The upper field displays the small state emblem of the Czech Republic, comprising a crowned double-tailed lion rampant at center flanked by the Moravian eagle to the left and the Silesian eagle to the right. Beneath the arms, the legend ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA arcs across the field, followed by the denomination 2000 Kč in the center. The lower portion of the field features a stylized Gothic tracery motif in high relief, rendered as an ornamental rosette or window quatrefoil, evoking the architectural theme of the series. The engraver's initials appear within the tracery design. The curved legend DESET STOLETÍ ARCHITEKTURY (Ten Centuries of Architecture) runs along the lower rim.
