The circular legend CENTRAL BANK OF THE CONGO runs along the inner border. | Reverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, a highly detailed sinuous Chinese imperial dragon is depicted in dynamic pose, clutching a flaming pearl in its right claw, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The upper arc of the inner circle bears the Chinese inscription 壬辰龍年 (Year of the Ren-Chen Dragon) alongside the Chinese numeral 二〇一二 (2012). The fineness inscription .99999 appears in the lower exergue of the inner circle. The broad outer border is decorated with ten traditional Chinese auspicious symbols — including a bat, fish, ruyi, and cloud motifs — arranged equidistantly between a beaded ring and the coin's milled rim. |
