| Obverse description | A classical Greek temple set atop a rocky promontory amid dramatically rendered billowing clouds, depicted in high relief against a darkened field, enclosed within an open olive wreath. Small Ionic column devices appear at either side of the wreath. The date 2024 is inscribed above the central motif, and the fineness designation Ag 999 appears below. A continuous Greek key (meander) border frames the entire design. The circular legend reads REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN above and 2000 FRANCS CFA 2OZ below. |
