| Additional information |
Cameroon has issued commemorative silver under its own authority since the 1970s, but the country's modern collector coinage is almost entirely the product of European private mints working under licensing arrangements — in this case almost certainly the Polish Mint or a comparable Central European facility that dominates the African commemorative market. The theological subject has no particular connection to Cameroonian history or culture; the issuer name functions here as a legal vehicle rather than a statement of national significance.
The face value of 2000 CFA francs is nominal — roughly €3 at current exchange rates against a coin retailing at multiples of that figure.
