| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Cameroon is centrally depicted against a finely engraved radiant sunburst field, with rays emanating outward from behind the shield. The arms feature a scales of justice on the escutcheon, surmounted by a five-pointed star and flanked by crossed fasces. A ribbon scroll beneath bears the bilingual legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN and REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON. The date 2023 is divided across the field to either side of the coat of arms, and the denomination 2000 FRANCS CFA appears in the lower field. The coin is bordered by an ornate decorative rim of repeated floral rosette motifs. |

| Reverse description | A full-color reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci's celebrated mural The Last Supper (ca. 1495–1498) covers the entire reverse field, depicting Christ and his twelve apostles seated at a long table in the moment following the announcement of the betrayal. The composition faithfully renders the architectural setting, the arrangement of the figures in four groups of three, and the dramatic gestures characteristic of da Vinci's original work in Santa Maria delle Grazie, Milan. The legend LAST SUPPER is inscribed at the top of the reverse, while the silver fineness notation 1 OZ .999 FINE SILVER appears in the lower portion of the field. |
