Obverse description The obverse of this rectangular silver plaque-style coin depicts, at left, a detailed high-relief rendering of a ceramic pitcher and shallow plate set against a draped curtain, elements evoking the narrative context of the Last Supper. At right, the coat of arms of Cameroon is prominently displayed, featuring a shield with scales of justice, crossed fasces, and flanking axes, surmounted by a star, with bilingual motto legends reading PAIX / PEACE, TRAVAIL / WORK, and PATRIE / FATHERLAND arranged around the shield. The upper field carries the legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN and the date 2019 in raised lettering. The denomination 2000 FRANCS CFA is boldly inscribed in the lower central field, with the fineness mark Ag 999 and the Mint of Poland mintmark (MW) appearing to the lower right. The antique finish imparts a dark patina throughout, enhancing the sculptural depth of the design.
