| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Cameroon occupies the central field, depicting a shield bearing a balance scale above two crossed fasces, surmounted by a five-pointed star, flanked by two crossed axes. The shield is inscribed below with the bilingual legend REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON / REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN within a banner. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs prominently around the upper periphery, while the denomination 2000 FRANCS CFA is inscribed in large relief across the lower field.
