| Obverse description | Central field features a large, naturalistic iris flower rendered in vivid blue enamel coloring, its petals depicted in high relief with fine botanical detail. Behind the flower, a round shield is visible, crossed by a sword to the left and a bow and arrow to the right, all in antique-finished silver relief against a burgundy-colored background. The upper arc of the inner field bears the legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN, while the lower arc carries the inscriptions 2 OZ, 2000 FRANCS CFA, and 2024. The mint mark XXI and fineness mark Ag 999 appear in the field to the left and right respectively. The entire composition is framed by an elaborately engraved outer border featuring Sarmatian-style zoomorphic and interlace ornamental motifs. |
