The denomination 2000 FRANCS CFA appears horizontally across the mid-field, flanked to either side of the arms. | توضیحات پشت سکه | A highly stylised Tibetan kapala — a ritual skull cup used in Vajrayana Buddhist ceremonies — is depicted in bold high relief against a polished dark field. The skull is rendered in an ornate, baroque style with deeply chased decorative scrollwork, cloud motifs, and swirling acanthus-like forms covering the cranium and surrounding the facial structure. A crown of miniature skulls encircles the forehead, and a single turquoise cabochon inlay is set at the centre of the brow as a focal point. Above the skull, an elaborate headdress features an endless knot (one of the eight auspicious symbols of Buddhism) surmounted by a yin-yang medallion within a filigree setting. The surrounding field is filled with intricately sculpted cloud and lotus petal ornaments extending to the coin's rim. |
