| 裏面の説明 | The reverse features a highly detailed, high-relief portrait of Jesus Christ facing slightly upward, his long wavy hair flowing to his shoulders and a full beard rendered with exceptional sculptural depth. A selectively gilded crown of thorns rests upon his head, the gilding applied with rich golden coloring to contrast dramatically against the antique-finished silver field. The composition is framed by a decorative cross motif set within a circular border adorned with dot embellishments, evoking Gothic stained-glass window tracery. Two amber-colored resin inserts are set into the field on either side of the portrait: a stylized fish symbol (ichthys) to the left and the Christogram 'IHS' surmounted by a cross to the right, both set within circular amber cabochons. The engraver's monogram appears in the lower right field. |

Cameroon has issued commemorative silver in its own name since the 1970s, but the modern collector program — of which this piece is a product — is operated entirely by the Bavarian State Mint on behalf of the government, a common arrangement among Francophone African states whose minting infrastructure cannot support such production. The coins are legal tender in name only; none circulate.
The amber inserts require a separate manufacturing step involving resin casting under pressure, a technique refined in European mints during the 2010s specifically to service the growing demand for novelty bullion in Asian collector markets.
