| Obverse description | The obverse presents a full butterfly rendered in a steampunk mechanical aesthetic, its wings elaborately decorated with interlocking cogs, gears, sprockets, and escapement-wheel motifs of varying sizes set against a hatched and engraved field. The thorax of the butterfly forms the central focal point, bearing the national arms of Cameroon within a circular gear-rimmed medallion, surrounded by a circular legend.
