| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features the coat of arms of Cameroon — a shield bearing crossed fasces above a scales of justice and a sword, surmounted by a five-pointed star — enclosed within an elaborate baroque cartouche of acanthus scrollwork and flanked by symmetrical foliate ornaments. A royal crown surmounts the cartouche at the top, beneath which the date 2026 appears on a ribbon. The bilingual motto PAIX / PEACE, TRAVAIL / WORK, and PATRIE / FATHERLAND is inscribed across the shield, with REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON / REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN along the lower edge of the shield. The legend ARES & APHRODITE arcs along the upper rim, while 2 OZ. appears at the left, AG 999 within a cartouche at the right, and 2000 FRANCS CFA curves along the lower rim; the mintmaster's mark TS appears below the central shield. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | High-relief depiction of Ares, the Greek god of war, and Aphrodite, the goddess of love, shown in an intimate embrace at the centre of the field. Ares is portrayed as a muscular warrior wearing ornate gold-gilded armour with intricate scroll engravings, a gold war helmet with a vivid red plume rendered in selective colour, and a brown military cloak fastened at the shoulder. Aphrodite stands beside him, semi-draped in a pale blue garment with colour application, adorned with a gold necklace set with a large crystal gemstone inset, and a gold bracelet. The two figures lean toward one another in a tender pose, their faces nearly touching. The background to the left depicts in low relief a fortified citadel and a column of soldiers, evoking a classical military setting, while the right side of the field is occupied by a luxuriant arrangement of large roses in high relief, symbolising love and beauty. |
