| Obverse description | A dramatic high-relief composition dominates the field, depicting a large human skull with hollow eye sockets positioned in the upper portion, its gaping jaw revealing prominent teeth through which the denomination legend curves. Immediately below the skull emerges a detailed human face rendered in a fantastical, otherworldly style, framed by towering industrial or architectural structures flanking either side of the design. Radiating lines emanate from behind the central motifs, suggesting an ominous, apocalyptic atmosphere. The legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs along the upper rim, with the date 2024 inscribed beneath it in the upper field.
