| Reversbeschreibung | The reverse presents a deeply sculpted, high-relief dual-composition scene illustrating the fairy tale of Beauty and the Beast. The left half of the field depicts Beauty and the transformed Prince in an intimate embrace rendered in antique silver finish, set within a castle interior with stone arch, candlelight, and cobweb details in the background. The right half contrasts dramatically with selective gold gilding applied to the Beast — a horned, leonine figure leaning tenderly toward Beauty — whose ornate doublet is richly decorated with gilded filigree scrollwork against a stone wall. The two halves are divided by a vertical baroque gilt architectural element, unifying the dual narrative of enchantment and transformation. The legend Beauty & the Beast appears in decorative script along the lower arc of the field. |

| Zusätzliche Informationen |
Cameroon has issued collectible silver under its own authority since the early 2000s, but the program accelerated sharply after the country partnered with the Czech Mint and later the Monnaie de Paris network of authorized distributors — effectively outsourcing design and production to European minting houses while retaining nominal issuing rights. These pieces circulate almost exclusively in the collector market; none reaches Cameroonian commerce.
The Beauty and the Beast license traces to the 1740 Villeneuve novella, not the Disney adaptation, though the latter is almost certainly the commercial driver here.
