| Obverse description | Central field depicts a classical Greek temple set dramatically atop a rocky mountain summit, surrounded by billowing clouds and radiating sunbeams, evoking Mount Olympus. The temple vignette is enclosed within a large, high-relief olive wreath, whose tied branches frame the central scene. The date 2024 appears at the top of the inner field above the wreath, flanked by the wreath's upper sprigs, while the fineness mark 'Ag 999' is inscribed at the base of the wreath and the series designation 'XXI' appears just above it. The legend 'REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN' curves along the upper outer border and '2000 FRANCS CFA 2 OZ' along the lower, all set against a deeply recessed meander (Greek key) border pattern encircling the entire coin. |
