| 正面描述 | The central field bears the coat of arms of Cameroon, depicting a shield with a map of the country surmounted by a five-pointed star, flanked by crossed fasces, with scrolls inscribed PAIX / PEACE, TRAVAIL / WORK, and PATRIE / FATHERLAND. The shield is set within an elaborate high-relief cartouche of ornate baroque acanthus scrollwork, with the legend FINE SILVER appearing on a ribbon above the shield. The date 2024 is inscribed below the central device, while the legend ARTEMIS arcs across the upper border. The inscriptions AG 999, 2000 FRANCS CFA, and 2 OZ appear in the lower and right fields, with REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN / REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON inscribed at the base of the shield. |

The Bank of Central African States serves six member nations — Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon — and has increasingly used high-specification collector issues to generate hard currency revenue outside the CFA franc's ordinary monetary operations. This piece is part of that program, not a product of any particular monetary event or historical occasion.
The diamond insert is sourced regionally; the Central African Republic holds some of the continent's most significant alluvial diamond deposits, though the political instability surrounding that trade has been extensively documented by the Kimberley Process since 2003.
