| Obverse description | Central field features the coat of arms of Cameroon, depicting a shield bearing a balance scale and a sword, surmounted by a five-pointed star, flanked by two crossed fasces with axe blades. The bilingual motto appears in curved inscriptions flanking the shield: PAIX PEACE to the left and TRAVAIL WORK above, PATRIE FATHERLAND to the right. The legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs along the upper rim, while 2000 FRANCS CFA is inscribed along the lower rim. The date 2022 appears above the shield, and the fineness mark Ag 999 is noted in the lower left field. The coin is struck with an antique finish imparting a matte, aged appearance. |
