| Obverse description | Central field features the coat of arms of Cameroon rendered in high relief within an ornate baroque cartouche, flanked by elaborate acanthus scrollwork filling the field. A royal crown surmounts the shield, which displays the national emblems including crossed fasces and a star, with the bilingual motto PAIX TRAVAIL PATRIE / PEACE WORK FATHERLAND inscribed on the flanking ribbons. The mint mark 'TS' appears beneath the crown above the shield, and the year of issue 2025 is inscribed on a banner at the top. The legend AL CAPONE arcs boldly across the upper periphery in large capital letters, while AG 999 and 2 oz. appear on scroll-form banners at left and right respectively. The denomination 2000 FRANCS CFA and the series number 14 are inscribed along the lower border, with the issuer legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN contained within the shield. |
