Encircling the shield is a selection of mint and mintmaster marks contemporary to the period, arranged clockwise: P (denoting Konrad Polner), S (unknown master), a lamb device (János Lemmel), the PR ligature (Miklós Pfeffersach), and an R surmounted by a cross (Konrad Rudel). Flanking the saintly effigy is the combined mint and mintmaster mark H-lamb, wherein the H identifies the mint city of Szeben (Hermannstadt) and the lamb device identifies the responsible chamberlain, János Lemmel. The encircling legend reads ALBERT 1437-1439 ARANYFORINTJA. |
