| Obverse description | Central field depicts the arched stone gateway of a Reformation-era church, its heavy wooden doors standing open to emit radiating beams of light, evoking spiritual illumination. Atop the rusticated stone wall above the arch, a dove is perched at rest, symbolising the Holy Spirit. The Budapest Mint mark 'BP.' appears to the left of the design and the date '2017' to the right, both incused within the field. The lower portion of the coin bears the curved legend 'MAGYARORSZÁG · 2000 FORINT' in raised Latin lettering along the inner rim. |
