| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central landscape vignette presents a waterfront bay scene at left with palm trees, reed beds, and low-lying buildings rendered in olive and gold tones, transitioning to a cluster of modern high-rise residential tower blocks at centre-right flanked by a mature tree. The large numeral '2000' in guilloche latticework occupies the left margin, with a matching numeral in fine-line engraving at the lower right. Arabic legends appear in two bands across the upper portion and along the lower border, all set against a light teal guilloche underprint with ornamental rosette devices in the corners. |

| Opmerkingen |
Algeria's central bank has operated its own intaglio printing facility in Algiers since the 1980s, one of relatively few African central banks to handle high-denomination production entirely in-house. The 2000 Dinar note, introduced in 2011, was the highest denomination in general circulation at the time of issue — a practical response to decade-long inflation that had eroded the purchasing power of the 1000 Dinar note introduced in 1998.
The security package is modest for a note of this value. Collectors should note that the Banque d'Algérie's domestically printed issues sometimes show inconsistencies in serial number ink depth across print runs.
