Opmerkingen

Student dormitory scrip from Yugoslavia's late socialist period, issued by the "Dobrica Stambolić" student residence in Niš for internal canteen or facility use. These institutional tokens of exchange were common across Yugoslav university campuses in the 1980s, where individual dormitory administrations operated semi-autonomously and issued their own paper for meal credits or amenity access — entirely outside the National Bank's purview.

Dobrica Stambolić was a Serbian communist official and partisan; naming student housing after such figures was routine practice that would soon become politically awkward as Yugoslavia began fracturing after 1989.
