| Obverse description | At upper left, a portrait of mathematician and geophysicist Milutin Milanković (1879–1958) is set against a structured guilloche underprint, while the central vignette renders him seated at his writing desk in a scholarly pose executed in fine intaglio. Below the central vignette, a graph illustrating his celebrated calculations of snow line displacement across some 600,000 years of the Quaternary period is engraved with precision. The denomination in both Cyrillic and Latin script, together with the bilingual imprint of the National Bank of Serbia, frames the composition. |
