| Obverse description | Three-quarter right uniformed bust of Reza Shah Pahlavi, facing slightly right, set within a laurel wreath. The legend in Persian script appears in the field, divided by the portrait, recording the Shah's titles and the Solar Hijri date of his accession (Azar 1304 / December 1925), with the regnal year SH 1306 also inscribed. The design is executed in a formal, westernised portrait style characteristic of early Pahlavi-era coinage. |
