Reverse description The Imperial Iranian lion-and-sun emblem occupies the central field, depicting a lion passant to the right holding a sword, with a radiant sun rising behind its back. A jewelled Qajar crown surmounts the device above. The entire central motif is encircled by a wreath composed of oak and olive branches tied at the base, with the Arabic denomination inscription دو هزار دینار (Two Thousand Dinars) inscribed on a straight baseline across the lower field within the wreath.
