Obverse description Bust of Mozaffar ad-Din Shah facing slightly left, wearing a tall cylindrical Qajar crown surmounted by a decorative aigrette plume with jewelled brooch. The Shah is depicted in military uniform adorned with orders and decorations. The effigy is flanked on either side by oak branches forming a wreath, tied at the base. The Arabic-script legend naming the Shah arcs across the upper field, and the AH date ۱۳۱۹ appears in the exergue below the bust. A fine dentilated border encircles the entire design.
