Obverse description Central field bears a four-line Arabic royal legend within an oval cartouche, naming the issuing sovereign Mozaffar ad-Din Shah Qajar and the regnal date 1313 AH. The cartouche is surrounded by a decorative floral and foliate border rendered in fine relief. The outer rim features a beaded or dentilated ring encircling the entire design. The overall composition reflects the calligraphic artistic tradition of Qajar coinage, with the royal titulature presented in a formal naskh script.
