Reverse description Multi-line Persian legend within a beaded inner circle, surrounded by a wreath of oak branches in the outer margin, itself enclosed by a beaded border. The central legend reads 'Al-Sultan Muhammad Ali Shah Qajar / Do Hezari' (Two Thousands), identifying the denomination and ruler. This reverse, bearing the name of Muhammad Ali Shah, combined with the obverse of Ahmad Shah, constitutes the mule characteristic of this pattern issue. The wreath is finely detailed with naturalistic leaves and berries.
