Obverse description The Polish state emblem — the crowned White Eagle displayed with wings spread and head turned to the right — occupies the central field. The date 1976 is divided by the eagle's body, with 19 to the left and 76 to the right, and the Warsaw Mint mark (MW) appears below. The denomination 200 ZŁ is inscribed in large numerals across the lower field, flanked by the abbreviation ZŁ on each side. The circular legend POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA (Polish People's Republic) runs around the upper periphery in Latin script.
